Loma could make history tonight by being a two time champion with such few fights.

I think he should beat Rocky, honestly. Too skillful and smart. Maybe he doesn't stop him, but he wins a clear UD.

Real interesting fights. Martinez is flawed but he's a warrior and is talented

Bit of an early stoppage but nonetheless a BETTER showing from Verdejo.

    Still needs more seasoning, though.

Kovalev vs Chilemba is an interesting fight. Kovy should win easily, but it will be interesting to see how he deal with Chilembaa slick boxing

God I hate kellerman. Used to like him, but now just seeing his frog-like globulous eyes and hearing him spew his propaganda is enough to makes me want switch the channel.

Definitely... He was always annoying but back in the day on ESPN I appreciated his enthusiasm for the game and his obvious love of history but now he's a cheerleader like Lampley more often than not

Rocky Martinez is this era's Sammy Serrano: horrible fighter. Still I 'll love to see an upset just for the hell of it.

I'm not as high on Loma as some, but his foot work is really something. I really like how he does these Little side steps and pivots

Martinez hurt him a bit, but I'm not sure it's enough to gives him the round

I don't care what anyone says, Lomachenko is a top 5 pound 4 pounder and arguably the best pure talent in the sport today.

Martinez was a sitting duck since the start. This KO was not surprising.

I want to see if he's able to overcome Salido in a rematch before putting him there. Martinez was trying to engage him in a classical boxing match. Salido won't do the same mistake

I'm still not sold on Loma. Martinez wasn't a threat at all thus the 39-1 odds. I want to see him against a prime solid champion. Unfortunately there is nobody in the 130lbs that can fit that description.

There's no doubting he's a great mechanic though... He knows what he's doing in there for sure

    The other champs at 130:

    WBC Champion: Vargas from Mexico

WBA Super Champion: Corrales from Panama

WBA regular champion: Fortuna from the Dominan Republic

IBF Champion: Pedraza from Puerto Rico

I know that Nicholas Walters looked like shit in his last fight and failed to make weight in the fight before that but he could emerge at 130 soon.

Yep, i tought he looked a bit pedestrian in the first few rounds, but he really turned up the pressure after the third and was landing with some huge left hands. And he finally showed some power and explosiveness as a pro. His footwork is second to none presently, and he pivots as well as a prime juan diaz. Really hope hell fight salido next. I think he should win the rematch, but salido high octane, dirty, in your face boxing will surely cause him some troubles

Will Mikey Garcia ever return to boxing?

If so, he'll probably pull a Dingaan Thobela.
