Not the fight Keith had in mind I’m sure. He’d be much better off trying to get a fight with Josh Taylor at 147 or wait for Crawford (If he beats Spence).

I don’t see a way he wins this.

Boots would beat a peak Thurman, never mind one without a hairline

Thurman had asked for 10 million to face Crawford.

I doubt he gets anything close to that for Boots, though.

Credit to Thurman if he takes it, as it will SURELY be his retirement fight, but I won't believe it until it's signed, and fight week arrives.

Said that if Boots doesn't face Thurman next, then it'll be Stanionis.

Stanionis is a better fighter than Thurman in 2022.

BUT... knocking out Thurman will make Boots a mainstream name.

Boots is already gaining a name in my area, at least. Quite a few people I know are aware about how good he is. Probably because a lot of younger black people watch Gillie's podcast, and Gillie is ALWAYS raving about Boots.

He doesn't have the legs he had in his prime. He won't be able to run.

I think Ennis will smoke him inside of 6, in all honesty.

Bozy posted a video on Instagram a few days ago. Jaron is ALREADY back in the gym.

Yeah, he won't fall apart like Fimo did. Mainly because he has a quality father figure in his life. Not a fuckin clown like Fimo Sr.

Yeah, he's the worst we've seen.

Angel Garcia was being an ass for the cameras, but behind the scenes he was at least keeping Danny focused.

    Fimo Sr. is a distraction.

Beyond all that though... I just think Ennis is a better talent than Teofimo. He's MUCH more technically sound.

    Agreed.

    I think it'll be Boots-Stanionis.

And from a pure boxing standpoint, that's a better matchup. Stan is better than shot Thurman.

For Boots' mainstream profile, Thurman would be ideal.

Per Reports, There’s RARELY a Day Boots Isn’t in the Gym in SOME Capacity…

Even When He’s Not ACTIVELY Training for a Bout of His Own, Boots is in the Gym Helping Out “Lesser” Fighters…Mitts, Working Corners in Sparring, Just Hanging Out, etc.

Boots is a TRUE “Gym Rat”…

BTW, I'm convinced that Boots vs Spence/Bud is a pipedream. Those two aren't fighting Boots.

You can tell by all the respect Spence and Crawford pay Boots, they know he's a bad dude.

If they thought he was trash, they would laugh him off.

Boots seems almost too good to be true. You say to yourself, there's gotta be SOMETHING wrong.

He has the physical tools, all the skill, he's not gettin into trouble outside the ring, he's a likable guy, and he's CONFIDENT without having a fake, annoying arrogance.

If he has a chin, and he has heart, then he's gonna be everything the sport needs.

what is the most thurman could get for a ennis fight? 2 mill? 1.5 mill?

he could wait and get that much vs other guys who wont kill him to death.

If you think about it though, there's really no one else for Thurman to face, if he wants to keep going.

Shawn is retired. Danny is semi-retired. Kell is retired. Khan is retired. Spence and Bud ain't focused on him anymore.

Boots would be his only cash out opportunity.

    Danny's certainly not fighting Ennis.

    For one, they're good friends.

For two, Danny knows full well that he would lose.

I think Boots is going to have to fight some of the lesser known guys to get recognition, like Stanionis.

He’s a big kid, so I don’t see him at 147 for too long. Plus, he’s made it clear that he will chase Spence and Crawford and at some point, one of them will have to fight him.

The biggest fight in a few years might very well be Boots vs Ortiz at 154.

agREED, But Boots' Upbringing EXPLAINS It...

Sure, his Career ALREADY Shits on Bozy's, Pooh's and Farrah's Fistic Exploits, but Boots Still Grew Up in a LEGIT Boxing Family, Regardless...Was Probably In a Gym BEFORE He was Potty Trained...Likely Threw a PROPER 1-2 Before He Could REED or Write...

The Boxing Gym is a Natural Place for Boots, a Natural HAPPY Place, In Fact...

@ This Point, Steadily Increasing WEALTH and GOLD DIGGERS are the Only OUT of Ring Obstacles for Boots Ennis...Or If/When He Actually Falls IN LOVE, and the Young Lady Looks to Insert HERSELF Into His Career...

I’ll wait until they make an official announcement. Would like to see Thurman take on the winner of Crawford/Spence since he’s been on the sideline for awhile. But Ennis sure seems ready to take on next level opponents and Thurman does seem like the logical step up in class.

I dont see ennis giving thurman a fierce beating at all. i think he it would be over quick and thurman would find a soft spot to fall once he feels the power

I think people are overrating this guy. He has great potential. But I have seen this before. Young hot shot prospect knocking out tomato cans looking like a young Mike Tyson. Until he meets world class champions. Berlanga and Lacy come to mind. I'll wait and see after Thurman to praise this guy.
