Trailer looks good but it's going to either suck or be mediocre. How do I know? It's a fucking horror that's how. When was the last time they made a decent horror? You can count on one hand the amount of good horrors that's been made in the last decade. I just don't get why this genre sucks so bad that they can't make decent films for it. A good new drama comes out every other day, same for action, animation, and most other genre's.
Well, I've been looking forward to this one,. Rob Zombie is DAMN good at making horror movies to me. House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects are two of the best horror movies I've ever seen and I generally hate horror movies because well, they just don't scare me and they usually come off too silly and unbeliveable. Rob has a talent for these films. I really didn't care for this two Halloween remakes but then again, I thought the originals were stupid too.
My guess is because society has been so desensitized to what would have been scary 10-20 years ago. Nowadays, people have seen it all, even on the news and social media websites. Its kind of hard to shock people today when they've already seen it somewhere else.
Nah, that's a cop out because ain't nobody seen demons, zombies, aliens, vampires, monsters, etc. Hell nobody's actually seen a murder happen either, just heard stuff on the news. Basically you can make up any kind of monster you want, so you would think we'd have some scary stuff out there lately that was halfway decent. We need a new Stephen King, Alfred Hitchcock and any other horror specialist who went over the hill. It just makes no sense they can't make better films than they have.
I don't know, House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects are both pretty sick and twisted movies and I love them.
I like Silent Hill a lot. First time I watched it really gave me a few scares. Those damned nurses... on a second viewing I found them extremely hot!
