I want Enzo to win. He'd at least stay in the Cruiserweight division.

It's hard to comment on a fight where I've only seen youtube clips of both fighters.

Anybody seen Rudolf Kraj fight before? He's fighting Matt Godfrey tommorrow in the WBC eliminator.

    Busy cruiserweight weekend.

    That much is true.

For the betterment of the CW division, an Enzo win is a must. He has no intention of going anywhere, win or lose, whilst Haye has made it pretty much completely clear that he is off to HW whether or not he comes through tonight. In fact, he swore straight after beating Mormeck that he'd be going to HW- it was only the chance to fight Enzo that kept him at 14st 4lb.

The CW division needs a marketable, dominant body to drag it from the doldrums many seem to have placed it in. Haye could be it but he doesn't want to be. If Enzo manages to KO Haye, with US exposure no less, then he has a shot at being it.

    Agreed.
But by this logic - a Maccaroni-cheese win is essential as he lights up a dull division.

A Hayemaker win means nothing as:
    a) he has no intention of staying at cruiserweight anyway
    b) he won't do shit at heavyweight either

It's worse than that. If Haye wins (as I expect) and then jumps ship, the belts would be dispersed and a whole raft of 'paper champions' are created. None of which would have any legitimacy, on the grounds that the best CW isn't even fighting there anymore... :shit:

Actually, I think Haye might do okay at HW. HW is so dire at the minute that I couldn't say with any certainty that anyone bar Wlad would easily beat/dominate Haye. Though I admit that this is more a reflection of the HW division than it is of the 'special talents' of Mr Haye...

Either way, I'm starting to really get excited about tonight. I've been waiting to see Enzo STRETCHED by Haye for about two years now... :blobbox:

Who cares if he is moving up to heavyweight, a Haye win is still better, because Enzo is a boring, annoying, welsh bastard.

I'm predicting Haye in 5, I hope his chin holds up.

How hard do you think Macaroni punches compared to Mormeck?

Mormeck is a flurry puncher. He is a tough fight for anyone in the division but has a lot of weaknesses. He gets tired late and is not the best defensivelly. One of my favorite cruiser fights was the second Mormeck Bell fight. But I would be suprised of Macoroni does not punch harder than Mormeck.

I also think that any cruiser with a decent punch would be a fool not to go heavy.

    It's impossible to tell.

It LOOKS like Enzo punches very hard indeed, but it's not hard to look like a big puncher when you are smacking complete bums.

Enzo is a Werren fighter. I have a natural distrust and dislike of all Werren fighters with the recent exception of Calzaghe. They always fight bums. And that is why I want to see him ICED.

However, Haye definitely has a suspect chin, and even if Mac only hits hard, then he is live. Haye holds his left hand so damn low it's like he is inviting someone to whack him in his fragile chops.

fuck Haye has some physique, Im quite jealous. Can't wait for this one...this is basically what heavyweight boxing used to be - two 210lb men in pristine physical condition coming to knock each other the fuck out:cheer: :cheer:

And I can't understand what makes people think Haye can't compete at heavyweight. An in shape 220lb man who punches like a motherfucker sounds like exactly what this shit stink division needs to me.

Yup, Enzo being a Frunk Werren fighter is one of the reasons why I want to see him sparked. His welshness and annoying face don't help either.

And Haye is an exciting fighter, a big puncher who'll fight anyone. He's likeable.

Although he IS chinny, no doubt. That's why I was pondering about Enzo's power. I can't really tell how hard he can punch, but in the Braithwaite fight for example, he didn't look like a monster puncher to me. If anything I would say Mormeck has a bit more power. Mormeck wasn't a banger, but a solid puncher.

Nah, Mac hits harder than Mormeck by a good bit. His 1 punch KO over Dominguez (who is durable as hell), was a very impressive ending.

I've had a complete change of heart on this one after watching Maccarinelli vs Braithwaite - I expect Enzo to win handily now. I didn't realize how much he had improved under Calzaghe, he looks almost as good as Joe and very, very similar stylistically. World class jab, fantastic use of range, great variety of short and long shots from unusual angles. And he looks composed as well. I think Haye's gonna get fucked up & dominated here.

Wow, you really think so Hut?

I watched the braithwaite fight the other day, and he is a bit better than I thought, but I didn't come away mightily impressed, or thinking he was near Calzaghe's level.

I was more impressed with Haye's come from behind KO over the superior Mormeck.

The ref did a pretty crappy job there, but I don't think it would've mattered.

How? Enzo was fucked. Haye will win a heavyweight title 100% and he wouldn´t have drecked Ibragimov for 12 rounds.

Well, I hate to say I told people so, but FUCK. Enzo got as exposed as any Werren fighter I can recall. He was totally outclassed...

Haye is live at HW. That right hand will carry the extra weight. I'm sure of that.
