An Italian round robin. I think Paulie is the best of the three, and would have outboxed Gatti, and Spaddy. Spaddy vs Gatti would have been interesting. Spaddy could have outboxed Gatti, but at the same time, Spaddy's chin is highly suspect and Gatti could have stretched him if he could find him. Who wins this round robin? BTW - for the record speaking of Italians, Ray Mancini would have beaten all 3 of em.
I think Paulie shuts them both out. Honestly, and I have said this before, Paul Malinaggi represents every negative stereotype I have ever tried to overcome. He is greasy. He is arrogant and thinks all chicks want to fuck him. He talks stupidly. He is a pretty fucking good fighter. Cotto only beat him because he is a full two divisions bigger and paulie still gave him a go. He doesn't punch well, but he is fast handed and he has a decent defense. He is also not a runner. In fact, he straight up went to battle with Cotto, a coward who hides behind his promoters and will only fight prospects and retreads and he gave that fraud Joto one of his better fights. He would school Gatti and Spaddy might not land a punch.
Yeah I must admit Paulie is better than what I originally thought. I once called him a fraud, but he's definitely not one. I dont think he'll ever be elite, but he's solid and has the potnetial to outbox some good fighters, and give some elite fighters a good go. I dont think he could beat a Hatton, Castillo, or Harris(if Vivian was on his game) but he'd be competitive with them. I think he could beat the fraud ass faggot known as Junior Witter.
He would school that bum Castillo. He'd beat Harris and Witter too. Hatton, its a pick em, but his speed would give Hatton some trouble and if PM could take Cotto's shots he could take Ricky's. Honestly, Paulie overcame my hatred. Don't get me wrong. The guy is a walking stereotype and I hate him for that. However, he talked so much shit but he always said look I am not a bum. If I lose it will be to Cotto or Hatton. I will only lose to the best, if at all. The dude got his face broken and he never once looked discouraged or quit. He is a decent fighter as much as an ass clown as I think he is.
Hatton may not be the fighter he once was, and for that reason I do agree that Paulie could give him hell. Still, I think Hatton's pressure would be too much for Paulie and he'd win a decision, but no he doesnt stop him. Harris is a bad style matchup for Paulie. Harris has trouble handling pressure, but he does well vs boxers. Vivian is tall, rangy and has the speed to find Paulie. As for Castillo? Well, I think Paulie could beat the Castillo we saw in his last fight. But the normal Castillo would grind Paulie down and give him a beating.
Malignaggi beats Spaddy for sure....not sure about Gatti. I'll wait see how he does against N'dou....
