I spoke with both Manny and Freddie last week in Houston, and they are extremely confident going into this fight. Manny actually appears the stronger, while Oscar is already very light. If De La Hoya thinks he is just going to walk through the guy, he's making a big mistake, and may have already made one agreeing to a fight at a weight he hasn't made in 8 years and the guy is 35 years old.
I'd like to think you're right Stinger but even still, this is a mismatch. The matchup doesn't even make sense to me when there are bigger stronger more qualified guys out there for DLH to fight. Hell even a Trinidad rematch would've made much more sense than this matchup IMO.
While we were being interviewed after a strategy discussion. Pacquiao will win if he fights the right fight over a very jaded Oscar. It is Manny who is going to be the stronger fighter in there over a dilapidated foe.
I have exactly the same shirt as Manny on that pic, I can tell you that Manny is a cheap bastard for a millionnaire! :atu:::
Did you take this photo on a set of stairs so Manny could look taller but you were really two steps down? Cupey
I'm 5'8, the pics were taken on stairs in Nasa, but I can't recall where we were standing, but I am taller than both Manny and Freddie. Manny is around 5'5 or so, but if you look at other photos from the day his shoes had pretty high heels on them while I was in flat loafers. Oscar isn't as tall as you may think either, you who have met him know this, and he is not much taller than I am.
