    Would a prime Freitas be able to beat the fast-punching Pacquiao?

    I assume by "prime" you mean the straight forward hard punching Freitas. Again...no.

    he'd never catch manny and would never get set to throw hard shots.

    Plus, if he wilted under the pressure of Juan Diaz and Corrales made him run for his life...what would Manny do to him?

    Freitas simply threw punches too wide to consistently get to Manny. he would have had success with his reach (haven't checked boxing rec but I think he'd be the much bigger guy) but once manny started up with his combinations, Freitas didn't have the defensive skills to get out of the way and counter...not a guy with Manny's speed.
