Ortiz was never really a comfortable Junior Welterweight and really became a different fighter (the fighter now in the hall of fame, deservedly) when he decided to stay a lightweight... Ortiz certainly didnt mind a guy coming at him because it allowed him to fight in a heady, disciplined way, he could be amazingly boring in that mode but super effective (the title win over Joe Brown is the best example, where he took round after round against a guy who had been a dominant champion) ... I think that Ortiz would drive Manny nuts and could counter enough with quick hooks to the head and body to win a decision in a close fight... at 140, I think he's competetive but he's going to get dropped and forced to stay iin survival mode while Pac-Man piles up the points
