I've changed my mind and decided to pick the upset. Martinez by UD. Pav never gets his rhythm in the face of Martinez's handspeed. Plus I think Martinez will nail him with some lefts that'll stun Kelly and keep him honest.

Zab in his prime was better then Berto.

But this thread isnt about your boyfriend Berto.

    Pavlik-Martinez is the topic.

    Martinez via UD.

I just don't think Pavlik is taking it seriously anymore. I think he's lost the desire now that he made his big money with the Taylor and Hopkins fights. Martinez is quick with his hands and feet and Pavlik is going to have a nightmare at the mere thought of chasing him around.

Berto was dropped and nearly KO'd by same Cosme Riveria that Zab destroyed.

I just have no idea where Pavlik's head is at. What if he's sick again? I'm pissed though that he's fighting a 154 pounder.

Otis is right on the money, hope things are going well in training for your big fight in the near future, bro.

Martinez will have his moments with that nice left of his, and nail Kelly coming in, but Pavlik will prevail in a good, crowd pleasing scrap.

whoa. whoa. whoa. back off buddy. i don't know who you think you are, but i'm not looking for a fight. just simmer down now.

Williams has at least fought at middleweight and is big as hell. you know as well as I do his days at 154 are numbered. Martinez, OTOH, in the twilight of his career, does not belong at 160.

Williams and Matinez just fought at 160 and Martinez could have easily got the decision. If one is good, so is the other. They fought even. Williams is no better than Matinez.

Which didn't make any sense to me. If they had fought at 154 then PW would be the WBC 154 champion right now. Instead, he is beltless.

Well, that only confirms what I've said for a while now. No F'ing way in hell does Williams ever make 147 again. I'm sure it was williams who wanted the fight at 160, he probably felt his chances were better there and they probably were, but just barely.

Styles make fights. I don't necessarily blame Pavlik, but it's a shame for his own good that he's fighting yet another 154 pounder.

Pavlik had better be 100% on his game when he fights Martinez. I like Martinez. The guy is a real fighter, with plenty of ring smarts. I hope Martinez kicks the shit out of him, as I never rated Smelly Kelly.
