Dont know if it's true, but supposedly Tommy Hearns wrote on twitter that hagler died from complications from the covid vaccine.

But the more i think about it, the more i think this might be a trolljob by some antivaxxer

 

Quite shocking. He always seemed in such excellent condition and had all his faculties. RIP.

 

There's always the outside possibility of an extreme allergic reaction to the vaccine. But its most likely not the cause. Im sure further details will come out soon.

"One of Hagler's sons, James, tells TMZ his father was taken to a hospital in New Hampshire earlier on Saturday after experiencing trouble breathing and chest pains at home.

We're told about four hours later, the family was notified he'd passed away. A cause of death is still unknown at this point ... it's also unclear if Hagler's death is COVID related."

 

Went and look, and yes, tommy really wrote this on his Instagram (well that hagler went to icu cause of a reaction to the vaccine). That's fucked up and scary

 

Sounds like it might simply be the case of a heart attack. Obviously, we don't know much yet, but just because Marv kept himself in shape doesn't disqualify the likelihood of his heart just giving out.

It happens to healthy people every single day.

Exactly. Heart attack, thrombosis, tear of the aorta etc can all happen without a forewarning for seemingly healthy people.

Even if it were some sort of an allergic reaction, I doubt Hearns would know about it

 

I agree but if it happened right after the covid vaccine then it needs to be investigated. Im hearing about too many people dying after getting the covid vaccine. A whole lot of coincidences happening lately.

It's very important to recognise that antivaxxers are a bunch of divs so regardless of the cause of death here and whether it was in any way COVID related or related in some way to COVID vaccines (which we do not know at the moment), please try not to jump on that bandwagon.

 

No not at all. I pretty much check the sources and take everything I read online with a healthy dose of skepticism as we all should. Most of us here have atleast a half of brain to sort out all the bullshit. But at the same time when someone as famous as Hagler dies "allegedly" due to covid vaccines side effects...well people are gonna pay attention . The can of worms is open. Lol

While I'm far from an antivaxxer and think theyre bunch of simps, there have been a handful of deaths attributable to allergic reactions. Moreover, there is some data suggesting the AstraZeneca vaccine may be linked to blood clots. I have no clue which vaccine Marv took, obviously.

My point is, while it's very unlikely that his death is linked to the vaccine, is it impossible? No, its not impossible.

 

Sad one, this. I never even thought of Hagler as old. He'll always been gleaming and indestructible in my mind, RIP.

 

I always figured Duran would be the first of the Fab 4 to die, given he's the oldest. Or Hearns, because he's the only one of the 4 with brain damage.

Never thought Hagler would be the first to go. Hagler always struck me as the type who would live into his eighties.

 

Everybody knows I am far from a boxing romantic and I recognize that all sports change as does the world.

Still, this era where we see "youtube personalities" fighting in main events, would have a lot to learn from the Marvelous one.
