As most of you probably know already, These two fought each other when they were both on the way up... At that time, Saad was Matt Franklin and he was a bit of a counterpuncher, nothing like what he would later become... EMM was Eddie Gregory back then and his style was already pretty well-defined In their first fight, Franklin lost on a split decision despite dropping EMM early on and that experience, coupled with some questionable decisions against Mate Parlov and Marvin Camel, convinced him to give up on his more conservative style and go for the kill instead... So let's say, it's 1979 and both guys are at the peak of their powers, only now Saad is SAAD, how do you think it plays out over 15 rounds?
I think Saad takes it, personally... Saad was always hungrier, more apt to accelerate his attack when needed... I think he outworks EMM, drops him late to clinch the decision win
