It'll be on the Chavez-Vanda II card.

    He's trained by Dan Birmingham.

Along with Demetrius Andrade, this will probably be one of the more note-worthy debuts of the '08 Olympians.

I guess the next notable debut on the schedule is probably be Deontay Wilder on the Taylor-Lacy card.

for which I will be ringside.

Live at ringside Wilder and Harry Joe Yorgey all in the same year. I feel so blessed

A boxing fan would have to be greedy to ask for more.

I do like the fact that it's on the Vandy campus.

I don't know what either of those two can draw in Nashville, but it's a bit more creative than sticking it at one of the usual spots.

yeah if theres any kind of turnout, it should at least make for a great atmosphere. Vandy's a fun campus (I guess any college campus is, but Vandy and TSU are the closest, therefore the only ones I half-ass frequent)... but the gym is ugly as hell. Men's b-ball is their lone selling point as far as sports go, yet for some reason they prefer to play in a prehistoric arena.

Oddly enough, Yorgey was the biggest draw for the Aug 22 ESPN2 show. He brought at least 150 people with him - all of whom left the moment his fight ended, not even bothering to stick around for the main event or the remaining walkout bouts.
