MAYWEATHER READY TO DANCE AGAIN MONDAY NIGHT ON ABC'S DANCING WITH THE STARS; BOXING CHAMP NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT AS COMPETITION HEATS UP LOS ANGELES (October 14)—Welterweight champion and boxing's king of the ring Floyd Mayweather is asking you to tune-in and vote for him Monday night on this week's Dancing With The Stars (ABC, 8pm ET/PT). The boxing superstar, who found himself in the bottom two last week, is submitting himself to the demands of learning technical ballroom dance routines in addition to training for his welterweight championship against Ricky Hatton on December 8 at the MGM Grand and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View. http://www.fightbeat.com/news_details.php?NW=20545
 I'll vote. I'd love to help keep him on the show longer. It'll help Hatton's chances in knocking him the f*ck out! ::
He better hope the ref is blindfolded or paid of by Oscar. If this fight is devoid of fouls Vicky has no shot at winning.
Well DLH is old now and very inactive. He wasn't really possessing the stamina or legs to keep up with Floyd. A prime 1997-99 or so Oscar would've given Floyd a very tough match with Oscar probably winning. Hatton has a decent shot. He's gonna try and bull Floyd. We'll wait and see. But this Dancing with the Stars crap ain't doing Floyd any good. Dude is 30 now, he's gotta train harder to not only stay sharp but keep father time from creeping up. His legs need to stay strong for 12 rounds, his stamina needs to keep up with Hatton's and he needs to deal with a lot of Hatton's wrestling tactics.
Hatton has bad stamina. The guy gets tired holding. Floyd never gets tired. Probably because he trains year round.
It's a shame that Floyd isn't doing better on the show. Floyd's the 2nd best male contestant on there - the racecar driver is far and way the best male, and arguably best contestant, period - but his safety net is gone now that Wayne Newton was finally voted off last week (he should've been the 1st or at least 2nd to go). I thought it was funny that last week was the first time he plugged the Dec. 8 PPV, and was also the first time he wound up in the bottom 2.
Floyd's already helped get his face and name out there to a much wider audience.....now hopefully he can get eliminated.
Floyd was good tonight, arguably his best performance of the season. But He was good on a night where almost everyone else was great, and will be going home as a result. Mark Cuban had a lower score, but Floyd's going home tonight. In the immortal words of Wee-Bey... "Bet that."
