    Apollo Theater, New York City - WBC Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) made one thing clear when the subject of Manny Pacquiao came up - the Filipino superstar will never receive a 50-50 split of the revenue. Mayweather offered Pacquiao a $40 million dollar guarantee to face him on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao countered back, and requested an even 50-50 split...

    This fight doesn't matter anymore. They're both in mid thirties now. Floyd is going on 36 now. Even if Manny beat him people would cry he beat a past it Floyd just like Tarver beat a "past it" Roid.

    Floyd is being a tool, this shit has gotten beyond annoying. 50/50 isn't just the payday of Pacquiao's lifetime, it's the payday of his lifetime as well.

    Cotto is a decent fight - he's bigger, is coming off a big win over Margarito, and he's always been good at dealing with slick fighters. But after this it's gotta be either Pacquiao or Martinez, or I won't be watching. As much as I love to watch Floyd do his thing in the ring, I refuse to spend $$ to watch him outclass a big bum. Same goes for Pacquiao, of course.

    It's too bad a successful boycott of a Mayweather PPV will never happen, that's what it would take for Floyd to sit up and take notice. I've pretty much given up hope on this fight ever happening.

    It was the only fight worth tuning in for for a LONG time.
    It really should have happened back in 2009, it's irrelevant now.

    Today, everything else boxing has to offer is a 'sideshow'...entertaining at least, but meaningful? No.
