Great boxer, but I don't think Floyd is much on the street without his team of overstuffed bodyguards, in fact I know he's not.
I've asked myself plenty of times now why couldn't it have been the Mayweather private jet that flew into a mountain last week.
If you approach celebrities you have to be willing to pay the consequences as they don't want to be bothered. But you never heard of Leonard doing shit like this. Mayweather should have just said no and ignored him. Tyson knocked him for having bodyguards - but Tyson had more than he did, or as much at the McGirt - Brown fight.
Are you serious? I wish it was Kaepernick instead, but never Floyd as much as I dislike him as a person.
Back when you were a hot shot amateur boxing star would you ever snub autograph seeking fans/groupies, stinger?
First of all, not a great thread when you don’t at least post a link or describe what actually happened. Secondly from what I’ve heard the guy may have been out of line and that that was possibly shown in the video. So I’m not going to vilify Floyd when I don’t know or have any evidence of what actually happened. It isn’t like people don’t occasionally instigate these type of altercations for likes or to get lawsuits filed and I heard the guy even stated how he would take Floyd’s money if Floyd hit him.
https://www.essentiallysports.com/b...ation-in-miami-mayweather-accused-of-assault/ 'The altercation started with 32-year old Ricco Kimborough asking Floyd for a picture. But Mayweather found that rude as he responded with “I can’t even get a good morning first?”'
I like Drink Champs but I cannot listen to 2 hours of Floyd brag about money and material possessions. All time great fighter but absolutely no charisma.
I watched bits n pieces. Even when duscussing Kobe's death Floyd made the topic all about Floyd. Just an insufferable human being.
One of the biggest reasons I always liked Roy way more than Floyd. Roy was cocky about his abilities in the ring, but he had a more human side to him. He never was the type to make everything about him. He had proper charisma and charm, unlike Money May.
Hardly surprising in that Roy Jones is a country bumpkin, Floyd is not. Roy is basically Country Cousins in contrast to Floyds entire Michigan "upbringing". Jones is also a bit older.
Floyd might genuinely be the most tedious athlete interviewee in any sport. Never genuinely answers questions, always ties an answer to himself or his wealth. Great fighter but I never want to listen to him speak ever again if possible.
I don't mind Wilder, the guy is just a div. I wouldn't say he's entertaining in any way but he's far more tolerable than Floyd imo.
