Does the version of Manny who fought Margarito have any chance here?

Yeah. McCallum is too big and too good for Pac at 154. Pac was bothered by Margarito's size, chin and body punching. McCallum would be a nightmare.

Pac would have some success early until McCallum catches him and badly hurts him. Once Pac gets some lead in his legs it gets ugly.

    There's a reason Pacquiao never fought @ 154.

Now against one of the best junior-middleweights in history on top of it? Manny has absolutely zero chance. Forget about winning, his chances are near zero of lasting the distance.

McCallum was so rangy that folks would get nailed by him when they they thought they were out of his reach. I could see him landing something big when Pac thought he was out of range.

Absolute massacre. Pac wasnt a great ww. It was impressive seeing him beat these guys at 147 cause he was tiny, but i dont feel he was a great ww. Now put him in a heavier division, with a much bigger guy whos arguably the goat at that weight, and its not ending well for him

Yeah it went 12. Pac tried to get the ref to stop it.

If it had been the pre-Mosley version of Margarito, Pac would not have had as easy a time.

Pac might not even beat McCallum if they were the same natural size.

I agree with X. Size difference aside, McCallum IMO is a better fighter. He most certainly had the ring IQ to spot Pac’s mistakes and capitalize on them.

I wasn't saying that. I think Pac was a better and more special fighter than McCallum in a P4P sense. I'm saying that McCallum would be a very tough style matchup for Pac, even P4P.

That's not my point at all. Cause on paper, Pac is P4P much better than Marquez too, but you see how their series played out.

McCallum's style would be a handful for Pac even if they were the same size.
