Two extremely fast fighters that also enjoyed mixing it up.

How does this one play out?

Hard to say. Not to generalize, but Manny doesn't have any spectacular performances against fast black fighters. He seemed far more in control dealing with Latin style fighters.

Taylor did more at 140, though obviously not as much overall.

I think 88-89 Taylor is pretty close to being 50-50 here.

It would be a fun fight, but ultimately I think Taylor takes too much punishment and would get stopped in the mid to late rounds

Pac actually matches up better against Chavez than he does against Taylor.

I agree, at 140+. The Pacquiao who was extremely competitive but lost to Morales would have been in way too deep against Julio.

Even with that said i think Taylor is more susceptible to a power shot hurting him than Chavez against Pacman. Not that i think Manny could/would lay out Taylor like he did Hatton, but there's a better chance of single shots making a difference.

It's a great fight no matter how you look at it though. Often extremely quick fighters use their speed to hit and move. Not that there's anything wrong with that obviously, but at least with this one you know they won't be avoiding exchanges.

Pacquiao would beat both Taylor and Chavez IMO.
