I'd go with Moore. I dunno if Cotto has the firepower to put hurt on Moore the way Duran did. And Cotto damn sure isnt as strong, or defensively sound as Duran.
I'd go with Moore too. Good boxer, natural 154 pounder, and unlikely to be hurt by Cotto. Duran's power has become somewhat underrated I feel. Can you imagine Cotto knocking Barkley down hard at 160? I can't.
Barkley went down as much from Fatigue as he did from Duran's power. Besides..Benn knocked Barkely down 3 times in the very first round...so since when was the Blade's chin made of concrete?
:: Benn was one of the hardest punchers ever at middleweight. Barkley took flush shots from Hearns and didn't go down. And no that KD wasn't from fatigue. Duran landed a massive right hand on the button and Barkley went down hard. What has Moore proved? Pre Duran he was a good fighter. And of course he had more fights at 154 than Cotto has, and was a natural 154 pounder. So basically, he's more proven as a 154 pounder than Cotto is.
I agree. Just busting balls. I just hate when peole tend to exagerrate the opponents of th fab four in order to make the fab four look better. Hagler's opposition was MEDIOCRE for example with the exception of a blown up Duran and Thomas Hearns. However..to make Hagler look better Mugabi, pre Hagler, was incredible...Minter was a boxer on the level of SRR, Hamsho would have beaten Eubank and Benn on the same night etc. So of course now davey Moore beats every 154lbed of 2011....
As usual, nothing but crap and exaggeration out of you. I especially like Minter was a boxer on the level of SRR, which no one has said. And which is especially funny since you have proven you know nothing about Minter...who you have labeled as "brawler" and lumped him in with the likes of Rocky Marciano and Jack Dempsey. Typical Stafford...no use for those pesky facts.
Cotto isnt cleaning Moore's clock. It took him 12 rounds to put away a TOTALLY shot Mayorga. And if you think a shot Mayorga is as good as Moore, you're fooling yourself.
