Miguel Cotto against Chapo at 140. Does Cotto handle the deadly power of Rosario and overcomes the onslaught to win by stoppage in a fight similar to his fight with Torres or does Rosario dish enough punishment to stop Cotto?

Cotto wins but is in danger until Rosario wears down. Cotto breaks him down and gets a middle or late rounds stoppage but might hit the deck early.

Good fight. Obviously Cotto is not going to sit in the pocket and take the bombs Chavez did, but he wouldn't try to either. With that said although Cotto is the better and more accomplished fighter i'll go with Rosario head to head. It's not about attrition, i think it's just more likely than not Chapo lands something of major consequence, be it flush on the jaw or a temple shot which puts Miguel in a state where he doesn't recover.

If Rosario moves up to 140 during his prime I think I'd probably take him. The Torres fight just keeps flashing in my mind. If Chapo was in with Cotto that night instead of Torres, Miggy would have been a goner.

Cotto was a greater fighter than Rosario, but Rosario on his A-game was a more special fighter than Cotto.
