Would Alvarado be too big and strong for "The Baby Bull" and give him a beat down and TKO defeat in a wild shootout, or could Diaz out hustle him to a 12 round points win?
Alvarado would beat the shit outta him. Too big and strong. The Baby Cow has nowhere near the firepower and strength of Rios, and doesn't have Rios' chin either.
When you consider all of the baby cow's short-comings and weaknesses, he really did accomplish a lot in his short career. He was on TV a lot and had some memorable fights in his short career.
Yes we can agree there. Much as I wasn't a fan, he did get the most outta the limited talent he had. Still doesn't change the fact that his best win came against a washed up Frietas, and that he was protected from the likes of Corrales, Castillo, and Casamayor. It's better that he stayed retired, instead of coming back to take on Rios. Bam Bam would have put in the ICU.
HBO wouldn't buy the Casamayor fight as they thought it wasn't competitive enough and it would be a too easy win in Diaz's favor. Juan has a wife and kids, big house and custom cars and owns and operates trucking and remodeling business; but taxes and expenses eat up a lot of that revenue and bills have to be paid. He has been in training at Savannah's since before the past holidays and is down to 145 right now, so look for him to be back this spring or summer. I will imagine that he is going after the Rios-Alvarado winner and HBO will snatch that right up.
You just keep following me around here don't you, my fairy boy bitch? Just keep ruining threads, chicken mama, little fairy boy cdogg, won't fight..just types!
I have, on numerous occasions, advised you to come visit Waterbury so that I can give you a face-first full nelson to the pavement and put you in the fracture ward Until you do that, you are merely a keyboard warrior and an abject coward
Are you saying that "The Baby Bull" is financially broke?? And what you mean HBO thought Casapeos vs. Diaz wouldn't be competitive? Even the old washed up(2-3 years ago used up not today/Marquez version of used up) Casamayor would give Diaz the business.
And the best Diaz fought at 135. For a guy like Diaz, who DEPENDS on imposing his strength and energy on someone, it's not good when you're the smaller/less strong man. Alvarado is nothing special, but he's a big, strong junior welterweight with above average power, and it took a power puncher like Rios to hit him countless times before chopping him down/ This goes without saying but, Diaz didn't hit a fraction as hard as Rios. Alvarado would laugh at Diaz's best shots, and just bully him.
Diaz didn't impose his strength on anyone. He was a volume puncher a la Zach Padilla. Alvarado would laugh all the way to getting outpointed.
He was nowhere near as good as Padilla. Padilla actually had good defense for the enormous volume he threw in. AND, Padilla was a junior welter. Diaz didn't throw in the volume of Padilla, didn't have as good a defense, and was a lightweight who was capable of being bullied and worn down in a war.
