An aging fat McCallum takes on the incredibly green but big puncher Michael Moorer at LHW

Moorer would beat the crap outta McCallum at 175. McCallum would probably do well for a couple of rounds based on his skill and class, but eventually Moorer's size and firepower are gonna take over.

Now obviously, if they were the same size McCallum owns him. He was a much much better fighter than Moorer... this is purely about size and youth.

That's nutty imo. McCallum was one of the best 154 pounders ever.

In term of record yeah. But moorer was a fucking beast at 175, and he showed at hw that he wasn't just a front runner. Sure in a p4p ranking hes not even close to the bodysnatcher, but im not sure he was a lesser force

Moorer had problems with Frankie Swindell and Leslie Stewart.

Stewart had already been destroyed by Virgil Hill and Donny Lalonde - both beat Stewart more impressively than Moorer did.

Moorer was dangerous tho, no doubt, but he emerged at a time when 175 wasn't as deep as it was a few years earlier.

Moorer would get his ass kicked at 175 by guys like Spinks, Qawi, Saad, Eddie MM.

You specifically said "in a p4p sense." But I get your point. Moorer was super good at 175.

    There's a huge difference between a p4p ranking and a p4p matchup imo

moorer is an unknown at LHW. We simply dont know how good he was or he wasn't, but I'm not sure he was a lesser force than McCallum, and I think you're dismissing him far too easily at 175.
