Mike McCallum vs. Ronald Wright @ 154 & MW

I tend to think McCallum's body attack is more effective than Wink's ear-muff defense and southpaw jab. I favor McCallum at both weights. What about you guys?

 

McCallum would turn the trick in a close fight. Something like 6-4-2.

I consider McCallum the best Jr. Middle who ever lived, & Wright, the most under-rated fighter of his generation.

 

Winky Wright......man, what an overrated entity.

McCallum wins this one widely.

I agree with Irish that Winky is overrated. No man that had a close fight with Vargas, and lost to Harry Simon has any chance with McCallum. And Winky doesnt have the style of Kalambay to pull the upset either.

 

Would be close actually. McCalum would win a close decision at both weights

 

Has Winky ever even won a big fight against a fresh dude who was a natural 154lbr? And don't say Bronco McKart....

 

I like McCallum to win decisions at both weights in fights that are awkward and unsatisfying thanks in large part to Winky's dull approach
