Dream match up for me. I've seen Chuck get KTFO a lot but it isn't enough for me. During his "heyday", they hyped him up as the baddest man on earth with his silly slap punches. I truly hope Mike sends him to Bolivion.

Tentative date is October 2nd on Triller.

It will be a boring exhibition that will end in a draw

Chuck wasnt a slapper. He could crack. He wasnt hype just a pioneer of the sport. By todays standards He would be considered a journeyman.

Yeah he was pretty basic but what made him successful was his takedown defense. A lot of striker types are helpless when somebody takes them off their feet. Conversely some of the guys who rely purely on submissions and wrestling were fucked against him. They couldn't get him down so the fight remained standing up and they inevitably took blows to the face and got knocked out.

Exactly Liddell wasn't an extraordinary striker, but he did not have too as he was mostly ''boxing'' vs wrestler. Plus, he had a ko punch which, while always a good attribute, is exponentially so vs guys who don't roll with the punches

Chuck punched funny cause he did it in a way that minimized his takedown exposure. He was known more for kicks anyway- he was a karate/tkd guy I believe.

He was a karate(Kempo) guy. He trained in San Luis Obispo California.

Cool. Now that i said the thing about kicks I just watched a HL vid of Chuck and literally every KO was from punches. For some reason I remember Chuck having some killer kicks too ‍♂️.

The only kick i remember chuck throwing was against sobral. Mostly a brawler in the UFC. Fell in love with his power and then got Old.
