Huge size advantage. Fury handled a very poor mans version of Tyson pretty easily when he fought Chisora the second time. Fury has the size and can fight a big mans fight as we've seen. I just think Mike gets him out of there early but the size advantage and heart of Fury is a big issue. Fury has much more heart.
Fury would beat the older Mike who much too easily fell into clinches and didn't do much work inside. The young Iron Mike was a different animal. Not only would he close the distance much quicker, but there was a price to pay if you simply tried to tie him up. Vicious body blows and uppercuts. Fury is too good and smart to not be competitive, but he would be in trouble.
I think Fury would beat the post-97 Tyson. The 96 Tyson from the Bruno rematch would still be too much for him.
For me, Fury doesn't even beat prime Bowe, let alone prime Tyson. Wilder and Whyte are both fuckin garbage. Whyte is so garbage he would get fired as a prime Tyson's sparring partner. Bum ass AJ had already spanked him years earlier. Truly an overrated resume that Fury has.
Tyson is too fast too explosive and too powerful for Fury. He’d KO him very early. I would take Tyson, Lewis, and Bowe over Fury. I think Fury has a chance against Holyfield due to his size and stamina advantages but I wouldn’t pick him to win.
Tyson and Lewis both beat Fury. Tyson has the easiest time of it I think, once he slips inside and unleashes. Lewis gets him out of there but I think he will have an awkward time of it for a while. I see Fury-Bowe as 50/50. Holyfield is a greater fighter but Fury is a stylistic nightmare for him I think, not only would he be the tallest guy he ever fought, he also fights tall and uses all of his physical advantages.
Love Mike, but I won't lie, Lummox would handle Fury easier. Mike would need a few rounds to adjust to the height (which he would, his ring IQ was underrated). Lewis wouldn't need to adjust much. Both KO Fury though.
I agree both KO Fury but I believe Mike can work his way in easier, despite the height disadvantage, and he always starts fast. Lewis would have to take the initiative against Fury and bang in some right hands. He does eventually but I think it'll be a tentative few rounds at first. Fury's movement will keep him honest for a bit before he starts to turn the screw.
