HOLLYWOOD, FL, November 5 – Following his impressive fifth round stoppage of veteran Henry Porras on October 30th, super middleweight contender Edison Miranda silenced any critics who questioned whether he would still be the same fighter at 168 pounds that he was at 160. http://www.fightbeat.com/news_details.php?NW=20708
this is a good azz fight. i'd love to see Miranda vs. Pascal. make it happen!!! i'm surprised Miranda isn't calling out Calzaghe. well, no i'm not.
Does anyone else have a sense of irony about one of the loudest mouths in the business is saying that Pascal has a big mouth ::
I'd take Paschal, I don't rate Miranda at all...at 168, he will be at a distinct disadvantage not unlike Echols was at 168, lacking technique and not having the same impact power wise...I'd love to see Lacy exchange clubbing punches with him, I think Lacy would take him out...
For a supposedly slick fighter who relies on his reflexes and natural gifts, Pascal sure gets hit alot. Miranda would knock him out, IMO.
Not disputing that....though I tend to dislike "loudmouths" and there are other ways to put butts in seats.
I was actually thinking along those lines as well. There was talk very early on about Pascal being the "next RJJ"....that's quieted down some. ::
You think so? I guess Miranda did the same to Green... although that fight was at 160. If Pascal can take Miranda's punch he'll out-point him, IMO. Miranda really, really sucks.
