Former world title challenger and current top rated super-middleweight contender, Edison "Pantera" Miranda (33-4, 29 KO's), scored a spectacular 1st round KO over Mexican National Champion, Francisco "Panchito" Sierra (20-3, 19 KO's). Early in the round both fighters were feeling each other out. Sierra came out jabbing while Miranda landed some left hooks to the head.
