I am really looking forward to Dream 11, especially the matchup between Mousasi and Sokoudjou. Great first fight test for Mousasi at 205.:bears:

I'm hoping the Mousasi\Babalu Affliction matchup ends up on the Strike Force card. With both Riggs and Overeem out, they need another marquee matchup.

I would agree. With the Affliction collapse, its a great time for Strikeforce to pickup some great names as well as maybe co-promote with Dream

Torres is actually right on one thing though. Floyd's boxing style would not translate well at all to MMA unless he can land a killer deadly accurate punch flush before he gets double or single legged in the cage.
Floyd has to be kinda worried though. UFC 100 just did 1.5 million buys. Floyd's hit that mark only once thanks to major help from Oscar. Let's see Floyd get 1.5 mill buys against Marquez whom he's banking on to help sell the ppv through Marquez's major mexican fanbase on a mexican holiday.

Yeah so Floyd style won't do good in MMA...how would Torres do in a boxing RING...??

UFC did 1.5 is that official...or is that what Dana White and the UFC guys were telling everyone it was going to do before the event even took place....?

It's official. UFC 100 is the biggest UFC in history, surpassing 1 million from UFC 66.
Now let's see Floyd pull that number against Marquez. He's gonna look like a real dumb f*ck when he sees this UFC thing which he calls a 'fad' kicking his ass in PPV buys.

i thought the UFC did not release it's ppv numbers.....I read it net the 2nd LARGEST GATE in UFC history.but anyway one of the most stack events in UFC history...plus the historic 100 event vs. Mayweather vs. some mexican nobody knows about...not even mexicans care about unless he is fighting Pacquiao...and mexican fans are not stupid..they know it's a MISMATCH...they won't be buying...

But anyway it serve Mayweather good...talk all that shit...how he is the money maker in boxing this and that....but it takes TWO to make it happen...he had DLH and Hatton...

I bet Pacquiao vs. Mayweather shatters UFC 100 numbers.......*if both guys win their next fights...

UFC released it's numbers for UFC 100 because it was a record. Otherwise they normally don't. UFC 98 Macida/Evans got just under 700K ppv buys.
Anyway, the subject is Floyd and his claim of being Mr.Money man. If he's as big a star as he claims, he should destroy 1.5 mill buys just off his own name no problem. Marquez is irrelevant.
You know Brian Kenny will have a lot of material to throw in Floyd's face in their next interview if Floyd gets whupped in PPV sales by a bunch of tatooed no talent MMA losers.

Brian Kenny is the man, I love it when he puts Floyd on the spot:bears:

Seriously, am I the only one who is tierd of this debate? Boxing vs MMA? :bangh: They are different sports. Its just that. Miguel Torres would destroy Floyd in a MMA fight. Floyd would destroy Miguel in a Boxing match. Its simple. Doesn't everyone else see it too?

Personally, I love them both and i think many others do too.
