Inspired by the "Joe is FAST" thread. Which fighters have the most impressive training sessions? Link some clips if you got em!

    IMO:
    Floyd - Mitts/Padwork (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfca5aQapc8&feature=related)

    Shane - Double End Bag
    (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IPb_sp4A1s)

Foreman - Heavybag, legendary for pounding those 300lb bags

Tyson - that swinging bag thing and bobbing and weaving drills, also had some crazy jump rope and speedbag work (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnwLEbFoBFs)

Jump rope - I remember seeing Floyd and Ray Leonard having some crazy skipping drills.

    What else?

Ken Norton Jr. punching the air...or field goal padding, whichever was available.

    Unimpressive:

    - I remember watching Morales train for the third Pac fight, and he looked like such a gimp doing all those athletic drills his coach was having him do.

    - Also, for somebody so fliud in the ring, for some reason Roy looks completely awkward on the speedbag, though that's not to say he doesn't do it well.

    - Unsurpisingly Toney stopped doing roadwork completely once he became a heavyweight, but considering his awful diet and cardio work, he for the most part had pretty good stamina. (Though you can pretty much accredit a lot of that to his calmness and guile in the ring)

    - Hattons padwork didn't seem too impressive either, although its main purpose was to build stamina, etc. I don't see why he didnt just hit a heavybag.

From a defensive standpoint, this is the most impressive thing I've seen.

This drill sharpens reflexes and hones counter punching skills:

Yeah, Hatton looks like an idiot screaming and winging shots, also when he does the bodybag that looks like a hot air ballon.

I was watching the Mayweather/Baldomir fight with Dale Brown at the end of 2006. He used to be a stablemate of Toney's. He was talking about the 100s of rounds they sparred and how amazing it was that he could compete.

He told me everytime they would go running James turned in to a whiney bitch. Also, his room was ALWAYS cluttered with McDonalds and Burger King bags.

Damn, that floyd video was mine that was stolen by some other website.

That was a few days before the Gatti fight, at a public workout, where fighters usually half ass it by hitting the speedbag for a minute, hitting the heavybag for a minute, and stretching in the ring for a minute. Floyd's half ass workout was WAY more than some fighter's full workouts.

    EDIT:
Hatton's workouts are more endurance training than anything else. One fighter told me that there is very little technique, but he goes harder than anyone he's ever seen.
