The first one is both the most shocking and painful moment in my boxing fan career. The real sad part is I was in the arena:doh:

    Ditto...

Even Today, REED gets an UNEASY Feeling whenever he Watches that Footage...Fortunately, they DON'T Usually Show the Angle where U Can SEE Roys Eye's Roll, as that Left Hook Connects:lol: ...

Even the Glencoffe KO ISN'T as Unsettling to REED as Roy-Tarver II...

I think the most shocking was probably Tyson v Douglas. Nothing in the sport has ever shocked me as much and that and it came early on in the piece. (as far as being a fan of the sport)

Most painful? I dunno. Nothing really affects me negatively like that. Probably a shitty decision that you just KNOW the underdog isn't going to get....still the look of dissapointment on their face makes you feel ill towards the sport. It's not pain, but it still sucks and it happens far too often.

Wasn't shocked at Tarver-Jones II. Probably the moost shocking to me was seeing part time boxer/golfer Corrie Sanders treat Wlad like he was his bitch.

Most painfull was Morales-Pacquiao II. 10k worth of being painfull.

Most shocking AND most painful for me go hand in hand.... its a tie between Jones-Tarver II and Tyson-Holy I.

I was in deep depression after both of those fights.

The tragedies like Benn-McClellan, Quiroga-Anifowoshe, Chavez-Johnson, etc...bother me the most.

The most down I've felt after a favorite fighter of mine lost was Lewis-Tyson. Deep down I expected it, but I tried to delude myself into thinking that Tyson had a respectable chance.

    Same here.

Another shock for me was Lewis getting liquidated by Rahman in Africa. THAT was shocking, and believe it or not, Williams flooring Tyson SHOCKED me when it happened.

When Tyson was beaten like that against Lewis, I too was depressed. It was so sad to watch as a Tyson fan.

That's how strong the myth of Tyson was/is (for some people). The guy wilted 5 times and people are still surprised that he loses. Even the BOOKIES are sold on his myth. They must have lost millions on this guy each time, but they put the lines astronomically high. I think McBride was +900

    Good shouts here.

The Benn-McClellan fight was horrible- my favourite fight ever but a man (a champ) got permanently hurt. Which is nee good.

And I was AMAZED when Rahman dropped Lewis. Absolutely amazed....

I was working at a newspaper that night and when we printed the sports section, I immediately looked for the result of the fight, since I missed it. I  when I saw the picture of Lennox on the canvas.

Most shocking, was Tyson-Douglas. I was just a kid, and saw it live. I remember right afterwards calling friends and telling them. They thought i was joking.

The most painful is harder to say. I hate seeing past great fighters getting demolished against younger fighters they don't belong in the ring against. (an exception is Norris-Leonard  )

Tszyu-Chavez was pretty painful. I like both fighters a lot, but seeing Kostya violate Julio was bad.

Hopkins Trinidad and Jones Tarver II were the most painful ones for me.

Most shocking was probably the bite fight, Holyfield Tyson II.

It goes without saying that Jones-Tarver II is the most shocking and painfull for me. I walked around like a Zombie for 2 MONTHS after that fight. I still don't watch the knock out when it comes on TV. Can't look...

It's better to move on to another fight that was painful...

Mark Breland vs Aaron "Superman" Davis...

I was hurt after that knock out. I loved Breland fights. Davis was way too big and too strong... I think he broke Breland's nose after that fight...

I was also shocked after the Pernell Whittaker J C Chavez draw...

the most shocking was the Roy Ko. I remember I could'n't scream that Roy got kod. All I could say was: "knock out" "Knock Out'

I was never hurt by anything in boxing. Since I was a kid I learned i'ts a dirty sport and I have been used to shady decisions. I almost expect something fishy in every fight. It feels weird when things go well on a boxing card.
