Name those favorite films you keep watching over and over even when surfing tv channels looking for something else, you stumbled upon one of those and you remain glued to the screen.

For example the movie that I have watched most times in my entire life is Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon. in 1973 there was no internet, no cable tv and no VCRs to rewatch the film, so the only thing a fan could do was to pay the movie ticket again and again and again. I watched that film in the big screen over 20 times. When the VHS era arrived I recorded it from its television premiere in 1982 and kept watching it until the videocassette tape got damaged. I bought the VHS tape with subtitles and without subtitles. When they released the 25th Anniversary commemorative edition I shed $50 and bought it. When the DVD version was released I bought it. When the blu-ray version came out, I bought it. In short, I stopped counting the viewings after it surpassed the hundred one. I know I'll keep watching it many more times while I still breath.

While that one is the champ, there are many others that I watch many times.

ALIENS is an awesome film that I have watched many times, more than the original.

Beneath The Planet of the Apes is my favorite from the franchise and don't get tired of watching it.

Star Wars (A New Hope) is another one that I have even memorized the dialogue.

Close Encounters of The Third Kind is my favorite Spielberg movie with Raiders of the Lost Ark a close second in viewings.

Saturday Night Fever & Grease: I watch these two at least once a year. Is a ritual.

King Kong (1933) I love the remake, but it is too long, so I have watched the original 88 minutes long more times.

If that's what you find 'multi-watchable', I'd stop your list right there. :scratcher:

    Thin Red Line

    Office Space

    Pulp Fiction

    Do The Right Thing

    Goodfellas

    Diehard

    Trainspotting

This is going to sound stupid, but I've probably watched "The Signal", 5 or 6 times in the past several months. A sparse little sci-fi movie with very average reviews. :blackcloud:

"School Daze" is perhaps the weirdest Spike Lee movie ever made, and I normally hate, hate, hate, musicals.......but I watch this movie constantly.

While I liked 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park" when it was released, for some reason I have not bothered to watch it again. So it was a one viewing experience.

How British, Canadian, Polish fighter pilots held off the Luftwaffe attack of Operation Sealion in 1940.

Only one of the most famous campaigns in WWII.

You know, which stopped Nazi Germany gaining control, of the shipping lanes in the Atlantic...nothing special.

This would be almost completely different to 'favourite' movies but there are some movies I tend to stick in quite frequently when I'm hungover or struggling to sleep. Guess I find them relaxing or something

    groundhog day
    all the presidents men
    accidental hero
    the dark knight
    frankie and johnny
    ghostbusters
    kramer vs Kramer

Lost World: Jurassic Park is alright. It's not a bad movie, and it CAN be re-watched, but not many times. You can re-watch it maybe 2-3 times.

Jurassic Park 1 on the other hand, is easily one of the most re-watchable movies of all time. Truly a classic. I NEVER EVER get tired of watching it.

It's like 100 light years better than any other movie in the franchise.
