New York, NY, July 31, 2007 – MSG announced today that the network will air the cable television premiere of undefeated John Duddy’s bout against Italy’s Alessio Furlan on Saturday, August 11 at 8:00 pm. The 10-round bout entitled "The Homecoming" will be Duddy’s first bout as a pro on the Emerald Isle. He's a charming Irish dude from New York with a good attitude. He's likable. I agree with you though... he's not top level and never will be. He simply isn't very good when compared to a world class boxer.
This fight card is also scheduled on MSG like the following Tuesday which will keep Sat night tv open for more important shows. That said, MSG kicks ass.
