    Only managed to outpoint Inoue.

Credit in that Inoue can fight and maybe punch a bit, but I was hearing very big things about Munguia.

Inoue is tough! Munguia is just a big weight cheat imo.

Mungia probably needs a change in his corner. He seems to have plateaued.

Yeah, I was wrong about him.

He does look like a loss waiting to happen.

If Munguia's moving up to 160, and since he's on DAZN... he needs to be kept FAR away from Jacobs, Canelo, and Andrade. He clearly isn't ready for those three.

Probably not, but this is a crazy sport.

4 years from now, Canelo could be badly faded, and Munguia more polished.

But that's speculation. What's clear is, RIGHT NOW, Canelo would stop Munguia.

    Andrade would stop him also.

Why keep him away from alvarez? That's the goal

His team would be foolish to turn down that payday when he could lose to some mediocre opponent any given night

Not One for the Jaime Munguia Time Capsule, But a Bout That Will Likely BENEFIT Him Moving Forward...Similar to the Liam Smith Fight…Munguia's LEARNING On the Job @ This Point...

He's a FULL Year, Minimum, from Being Considered a Real Threat to Some of the Elite @ '54 or '60...

There WERE Positives Though...Munguia's Jab was Effective, he Hooked Off the Jab Well, RAPED Inoue's Body, Created Proper Punching Range and Angles by Moving, Maintained a Ridiculous Workrate, was Never Unnerved By and In Fact EMBRACED Inoue's Energizer Bunny Level Aggression, and Took All Incoming Well...He's Gonna Be an ACTION Fighter When it's All Said and Done, Much to the Delight of Mexican Fans...

The GLARING Negative was How Easily Inoue Drilled Munguia w/Looping Right Hands...He Has Yet to Be Matched w/a BANGER and that D Definitely Needs to TIGHTEN UP Before Munguia Does...

Not Sure How Many Times he's Trying to Fight in 2019...Next Bout Will Be a Mandatory vs Dennis Hogan, on the Canelo-Jacobs Undercard...Whether Munguia Elects to Fight 1nce or 2wice More After That, "J-Rock" Should Be Considered Before the End of this Year.

Munguia Wasn't FAT, But His Body Looked a Bit SOFTER For Sure, Last Night...Probably Because He Knew He Was Matched w/Pugilistic Floatsam, Yet Again...

39 Bouts, 25 Years of Age, Yet the BEST Guys Munguia's Faced Are an UNDERSIZED Sadam Ali, Liam Smith and Gabe Rosado...Literally, Munguia's Been a Mandatory, # 1 Contender for More Than 1 Sanctioning Body for More Than a Year, Yet WON'T Push for a Title Shot...

At SOME Point You Need to SHIT or Get OFF the Toilet...

This doesn't refute any of that and maybe I am mistaken but didn't he briefly have a belt after beating Sadam Ali? I thought he had a belt and was stripped pretty quickly or gave it up.

He Won a Title @ '54 from Ali...

He's Campaigned @ '60 Since Early 2020 and Golden Boy LEVERAGED Him Into a Mandatory Title Shot Almost Immediately, w/More Than 1 Sanctioning Body...

That’s literally the first thing that comes to mind when I picture Munguia. A good boxer who manages to fight 1 or 2 divisions below where he ‘should’ be..

I wouldn't call him a disappointment. That would imply there was some form of high expectation for him.

He's pretty fun to watch, though.

I never got the "weight cheat" thing. If a fighter is legally cutting weight and not fudging the weigh in (Gatti vs Gamache) then he should fight at that weight.

It's not cheating per se. It's the impression that they're well able to fight people their own size. Just too fucking comfortable cutting weight and fighting smaller guys who can't move up or down..

I get it but if it's done within the rules and both fighters have the same set of rules, I don't see the big fuss about it.

Exactly. Not to mention that there's also a ton of disadvantage that goes along doing such a drastic weight cut

    agREED...

It's Really a MOOT Ass Point Unless the Sport Goes Back to Day of Fight Weigh-In's, Which AIN'T Happening...If You've MADE Weight Under LEGIT Sanctioning Body/Boxing Commission Rules, Who Gives a Fuck; You MADE WEIGHT???!!!:Dont:

People Call Canelo a "Weight Cheat"/"Weight Bully", and Yes, He's Abused Rehydration Clauses 1-2 Times (Which REED Ain't a Fan Of @ All), But That AIN'T the Norm Either, and Canelo's Like 5'7 1/2-5'8...Just Like Floyd and DeLa, Canelo's Used Rehydration Clauses Against Naturally BIGGER Men...

    Ultimately, Canelo MAKES WEIGHT...

And the Thing About it Is, So-Called "Weight Cheats"/Weight Bully's" Seem to PAINFULLY Be Forced Into Moving Up in Weight Eventually, If They Hang Around Toooo Loooooong...REED Can't Recall a THICKER 130lb'der In Recent Memory Than Miguel Berchelt, Who Got His Ass HANDED To Him By the Naturally SMALLER Oscar Valdez...

Yes, Valdez Pissed Dirty, But Berchelt Also Had "Issues" Making Weight and Could Be Labeled a "Weight Cheat/Weight Bully"...Berchelt MADE WEIGHT Though...
