I thought it was a bullshit stoppage by the Ref .... Talk about overcautious considering they were both hurt ... With that said , you must give Calzaghe credit . He got off the canvas and started brawling on wobbly legs and scored a KD and won the rest of the round - then the stoppage ..
sometimes i wonder if Slappy's gloves aren't loaded the way Tito's were. he throws his punches very strange sometimes, especially with his left.
:doh: Captain flurry strikes again. Anybody notice Slappy take a strange look at the referee about 15 seconds before the fight ended. I gaurantee you Slappy could have been knocked into the 7th row and they would have let the fight continue as long as he could get back into the ring by the count of 35. Goddamn!
