Pavlik would have fucked up Vargas horribly. Way too big, way too powerful. Vargas didn't have the mobility nor the defense to avoid Kelly's offense, and Vargas wouldn't be able to seriously hurt Kelly. Nando also depended on being physically stronger than his opponents, and that advantage is out the window against Kelly. Total mismatch. Nando would fight bravely, as always, but he would take a bad beating then get KO'd.
