Battle between two bantamweight bangers. Canizales is so tiny don't know if he could hold off this beast for 36 minutes. Inoue knocked out Donaire with a left hook to the body but was robbed of a stoppage by a referee who illegally blocked his path and then proceeded to give a shocked Nonito a very long count. Can the Monster blow his doors, or can Orlando slip and slide his way to a points win or systematical breakdown stoppage?
Canizales if nothing else had a granite chin. Inoue isn't stopping him. Inoue is more dynamic and more physically talented, but Canizales was more technically proficient with better footwork. Inoue did get hurt by Donaire, but Canizales wasn't as big a banger as Donaire. But then again, Canizales struggled with some guys whom Inoue would have destroyed. I'd probably go with Inoue, competitive yet deserved decision. His firepower would likely make Canizales gun shy. I think Inoue's just a better fighter.
