Hmmmm...interesting one. Their first encounter was pretty good fight, even though behind on the scorecards and down 3 times, Ingle was making big moves toward end of fight, before a straight-right down the middle ended his charge. And career. However! How would a rematch go down today? v Does Ingle have any punch-resistance left at this weight? Does Hamed still have power from those "crazy angles" (© Ian Darke, SKY Sports) ? :goodnews:
If anything that fight helped his career rather than ended it, it got him the big fights with Medina and Jones before Botile ended it all.
Well he isn't dead and he can walk and talk. Compared to other boxers who have gone through similar injuries he's fared pretty well. Saying that, in the interview I watched with him and that big spaz Johnny Nelson he didn't seem all there mentally, very on edge all the time. Quite sad actually. Spencer Oliver made the best recovery out of everyone really, but he seems to be the exception rather than the rule.
