Two big punchers. Both aggressive and risky.

But Hamed is the obvious pick. Faster and harder puncher with either hand. Lopez may have a little success if he boxes but he won't. He'll be too proud once again for his own good and it'll cost him.

    Hamed TKO 5

Much as Hamed was overrated IN HIS TIME.... I think I'll admit he's become a bit underrated nowadays.

He would have absolutely destroyed both JuanMa, and Gamboa.

Lopez is just too easy to hit. Sure he recovers well, but absorbing shots from Hamed is not something i believe he could do.

Hamed would have put Lopez on ice inside six.

Why are people still insisting that Lopez is a hard puncher?

No offense to you Puerto, it seems like many people think he's a puncher.

He has Cotto level power at best for his weight. A solid puncher, fairly heavy hands, but not a proper puncher. The only fight where he's looked like a proper puncher is the Ponce fight.

In the Marquez fight, the old bantamweight was truly there for the taking, Lopez hit him with clean shot after clean shot, and didn't come close to knocking him down, let alone KOing him.

As much as I LOATHE Hamed, he would beat Lopez.

I've honestly never truly warmed to Lopez. Very good fighter, & I admit to picking Marquez to beat him --- so even allowing for size & ring-wear, I still tip my hat to him for that fight --- but his frailties still await full exposure. I don't think he sees Hamed's best shots coming, &...Hamed via TKO in eight.

No offense taken. But surely you have seen Lopez's fights against Luevano, and Concepcion, right???... I'll admit he doesn't hit like Hamed. But he's a legitimate puncher at 126. He can hurt a guy with one punch and put a person down with one punch.

Marquez, old bantamweight or not has always been a tough SOB and is not going to get taken out with one punch. I think Lopez was gonna stop him regardless but he definitely made it harder on himself than he had to because he fought a stupid fight.

Be that as it may, its Hamed all day every day here. And X is right. Hamed destroys BOTH Lopez and Gamboa with ease. I doubt either goes into the middle rounds with him.
