Wait, why does Fagquez get an instant title shot at one of the Top 2 lightweights in the world? He is coming off a loss.

This fight is bullshit. Casamayor and Campbell need to fight each other. Fagquez hasn't done shit at lightweight.

    Probably because

    1. Nobody wants to fight Campbell including your boy Pac because hes too dangerous.
    2. Most people think he beat Pacman.
    3. The same reason why all them guys fought your boy Pacman coming off a loss.

    1. Pac has been scheduled to fight Diaz WAY BEFORE Campbell became champ.

    2. Opinion.

    3. Fagquez is coming off a loss at 130 and hasn't done anything at 135. Him getting a title shot is like giving Soto a shot at Casamayor. It doesn't make any sense. This is bullshit.

    exactly!

I'll pay to see JMM fight the real champ at 135

I won't pay to see Pacquiao spar with that slow ass pocho :nono:

I think this just might be a roundabuot way that Marquez is going after Pac. He wants the rematch, so he's probably fighting Campbell to get a title to get leverage on a third fight with Pac.

I don't think this is a great fight for Marquez though. I think Campbell's size and physicality will be too much for JMM.at this weight.

    Good post.

Perhaps Marquez won't be able to beat Campbell, but if he wants another fight with Pacquiao he's going about it a better way than he did last time.

Well, if this comes off, JMM has clearly stolen the play away from Pacquiao....IF he manages to win. If he loses, this could be an all-time stupid, career move.

Whether or not he is "the man" at 135 is highly debateable. I don't think there is a clear cut champion at 135 to be honest.

Marquez can't even get that fight today. If you think his chances increase after back-to-back losses, you're dreaming.

The facts being that Casamayor got a gift just two fights ago and that Diaz held 3/4 of all the belts at 135. That would make Campbell THE MAN at 135 IMO.

Like I said it's VERY debateable. Sure Casamayor got a gift but under that line of thought wouldn't the guy who beat him be the champion? because Santa Cruz didn't get the dec? Well if you think that way Casamayor is still champion. Just because nobody likes Santa Cruz and he has an ugly style don't matter. Oh then of course David Diaz did beat Santa Cruz. As for Campbell he beat Juan Diaz but what exactly made Diaz champ? To me there is no champion at 135.

In one sentence you shit on Santa Cruz but prop up Casamayor? If that's the case (and you are the one saying it) then Casamayor is EVEN LESS of a champion.

However, I can agree on NO CHAMPION in the division.

Actually it wasn't me shitting on Santa Cruz at all but nobody gives the guy credit that is my point. Why? because he has an ugly style and isn't a name. That was my point.

I wouldn't talk shit if I were you, Campbell could likely beat Marquez, and then you'd be stuck with your foot in your mouth like when you said "No one under batam beats Arce!"

Exactly. Everyone acts like this is a "give me" for Fagquez, but I'd say it's 60/40 in favor of Campbell.
