Just giving everyone a heads up on me, the next great fighter of this era..Future Boxing Champ Of World and Pound For Pound Champ..Gerald "GT" Tucker, Sr. I've been on a 6 year break from the ring following a family loss in Summer of 2001. Since then me and a real-close friend considered tighter than a brother started a record label Garnett Entertainment..now that oure company is in hands-reach of receiving a multi-million dollar venture deal with a major label, I relocated to Las Vegas, NV.. linked up with my past trainer Roger Mayweather to become Champ Of The World and to be named the Pound For Pound Champ.. This has been the longest I have ever been away from the ring, my professional record is 5-0, 3 KO'S..I've had one of the best amateur careers in the history of amateur boxing w 100+ wins with only 15 losses. Over 30 International fights. I got around 10 National Titles under my belt including 2 Nat'l Golden Gloves, and 3 Nat'l P.A.L League Championships all of which I won Most Outstanding Boxer of the Tournament. I was the only American to bring home the Gold Medal at the 1999 Pan-American Games in Canada, defeating the Cuban-World Champion in the semi-finals before winning the Gold. My last professional fight was in the Summer of 2001 ..I fought at Super Batamweight which is 122 lbs, I currently weigh a crazy..165 lbs..me and Roger are in the gym daily working hard to knock off all them Coronas and fat juicy steaks off my big ole stomach!!! SO MAKE yourself a friend....YOU WILL BE WATCHING HISTORY IN THE MAKING!! TEAM TUCKER 2007... Starting This Year "Its My Decade!!"

Keep an eye and an ear out for the next greatest fighter of this era.

When you see my Team Tucker logo in these posts know that I am voicing my opinion from a fighters perspective, and with very little favortism!! Look forward to being in here with you guys.

    Peace and Love,

Are you still fighting at 122?

You have some tough fights there if you can get to the championship level.

    I wish the best!

Why can't guys just fight at the weight they weigh or around that weight? Is the fact that everyone else is doing this borderline cheating technique that everyone else has to do it just to stay competitive? I mean losing 35 lbs?

Good luck, Tucker - but if you do hit the heady-heights...make sure you avoid Amir Khan, circa 2009-2011.

Good Luck Tucker, my son just started this year, he's the next, next big thing! Of course he's only 8 and weighs 70lbs.

As a fan of boxing, I ask you one thing. If you have the chance of an easy win or take that risk and go for the KO, GO FOR THE KO!!!! :cheer:

Not when records like this exist:

195 wins (80 KOs) and 15 losses in 210 fights

    Including:-
Silver at the World Amateur Championships
Gold at the World Military Championships.

Yes, that record also includes a defeat (by quitting) against future world heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev.

In fact, holder of that record has the following record against world champions:
    Quit against Chris Byrd.
    Lost to Lennox Lewis.
    Quit against Oleg Maskaev
Refused to face Haseem Rahman 4 times in a row, citing numerous injuries, aches and schedule incompatibilities.

P.S. Laughed my ass off at "Gold at the World Military Championships"....
World military championship is like Paralympic games.....

Its you that has the schedule misunderstood:

    the schedule works like this:

you go to the world military championships.
    you meet klitschko
your next competition is the paralympic games
Thats the extent of the connection.

Nah.....glass jaw, technical deficiencies, southpaw problems, natural born arrogant shit...can't eat during daylight for 9 months of the year or something....feasting against smaller men..and having problems against obscure French lightwelters.....can see him win a C'Ship...but dominant? Nah.

I'm sorry, Ortho, did I hurt your feelings with that long list of champions who defeated and/or made Vitaly quit?

You can put together the long list of title-holders who weren't out-of-shape and inactive who lost to Vitali.

    Herbie Hide

    Okay, list is over.
