Nice! Might not be the most exciting, but both these guys know what they're doing in there. Can't wait to see how they matchup.

I was hoping to see Nonito stretch the rat bastard Mares, but I'll settle for this. Based on how Donaire has looked in his last two fights, I slightly favor him. But Riggo is definitely to biggest test of his career by far. Great matchup!

I definitely pick Donaire to win this one. I frankly don't understand all the hype surrounding Riggermerol.

Rigondeaux's OLYMPIC Pedigree, the FACT that he's Arguably Boxing's Best PURE TALENT, of the Moment, & Being a Southpaw w/POWER, Makes the Hype Somewhat WARRANTED, in REED's Opinion...

Rigondeaux is NOT w/Out Flaws (Suspect Whiskers, Tendency to COAST & Become UNIMAGINATIVE when he's Ahead), but he's VERY GOOD, Nonetheless...

You Can Argue a SLIGHT Edge to Donaire OR Rigondeaux, but this is a 50-50 Fight, Basically...

    REED didn't Stutter, Bro...

Rigondeux had Nearly 400 Ammy Fights & Won Gold @ 2 Olympics...NO Country DOMINATES Ammy Boxing like Cuba Does & Rigondeux's Pretty Much Considered THE BEST his Country's EVER Produced...That's Saying ALOT, Doub...

When U've Acquired the Level of EXPERIENCE Rigondeaux has, you Can have an ACCELERATED Pro Career...This ISN'T David Reid or Fernando Vargas we're Talking about Here....

You really think so? I just don't see it. Gondo seems like a good, classic, very well schooled boxer. Very skilled. But talent? To be honest I don't see anything extraordinary about his power, speed, mobility, stamina, endurance etc.

Gamboa for example, might be an idiot in the ring, but has considerably more natural talent than Gondo I think in my mind.

Of course he can have an accelerated career. And of course he has talent. And a great pedigree. But your willingness after 11 fights to say that he's the best talent in the sport? It has me scratching my head. Which brings me back to my original point: I don't understand all the hype surrounding him. If he manages to beat Donaire? And one or two other top guys? Then maybe you could make the argument. Maybe. Now? Don't understand it.

Rigondeaux can PUNCH...Especially for a "Boxer", Per Se...& he's Usually SMALLER than his Opponents, Unlike Donaire...Rigondeaux's Also Got good REFLEXES & HANDSPEED...

Like Gamboa, Rigondeaux's Chin can Be COMPROMISED, but he Gets Hit ALOT LESS than Gamboa Does...His Head & Upper Body Movement SHITS on Gamboa's...As does his Boxing IQ...

REED Isn't Saying Rigondeaux is UNQUESTIONABLY the Best Pure Talent in Boxing, but it's an ARGUABLE Case for Sure...

U're Placing Waaaaaaaaaaaay tooooo Much Emphasis on 11 PRO Fights, while Overlooking the 400 Ammy Bouts, Doub...We're Talking about an ELITE Level, INTERNATIONAL Ammy Star, NOT Some Cat who Won the National Golden Gloves a Time or 2...U CAN'T just Cast that by the Wayside....

Would you Think HIGHER of Rigondeaux if he had 100 Ammy Fights, a Bronze Medal & a Pro Record of 20-0???...Should he have Gone the Chavez Jr. Route???...

I think, like most people, I judge a pro fighter by his achievements as a pro. That's not discounting his amateur career. Clearly he's better than the average pro with 11 fights. He challenging Donaire afterall. All I'm saying is, a guy with 11 fights as a pro, having faced who he's faced, can't possibly be considered the best talent in the sport. It doesn't make any sense.

There were PATCHES of Brilliance in the Cordoba Fight, a Guy who had OVER 40 Bouts, Compared to 6 or 7 for Rigondeaux...But it was Also an Example of what REED Alluded to Earlier, Rigondeaux's Tendency to COAST in the Latter Rounds...

Rico Ramos & Teon Kennedy were 2 CREDIBLE Guys that Rigondeaux Wiped his Ass w/...They had 1 Loss btwn them, Upon Stepping in the Ring w/Rigondeaux...The WAY he Disposed of them was GOOD Shit...

A 2-Time Olympic Gold Medalist, Multiple Cuban National Champion, w/OVER 400 Fights of INTERNATIONAL Experience CAN'T just Be Relegated to the Heap Either...Look @ WHO Rigondeaux's Fought in those 11 Bouts...

There's NOT a whole Lot of Fluff on his Pro Resume...

Yeah, I think i slightly favour Rigondeaux to outscore him over 12 now. At the risk of being hyperbolic i fancy this might be the highest quality match up since the early 90s
