    Who wins?

I think it'd be a great fight. I'm not sure who would win though.

    Who do you think?

I think the crica 02 Oscar still had enough @ 154 to decision Martinez. The thing is Martinez has a tendancy to drop his hands alot of times after throwing combos, and pull straight back. He can get away with it vs slow pokes like Cintron and Pavlik... but with Oscar's handspeed he'd get caught pulling that stuff.

The Oscar that fought Vargas could beat him. Hand speed advantage and a good enough jab.

I think he would decision him close.

Now the De La Hoya that fought Mayorga and Mayweather gets embarassed.

right on the money, to me. Thats what I kept thinking of as well... DLH was not a great junior Middleweight but he was still formidable... I think Martinez would definitely give him fits but I like Oscar to catch him with big eye catching shots and flurry just enough to get the edge on the scorecards... interesting fight

I'd lean towards Martinez by a pretty thin but clear decision. On my card at least. It's absurd how underrated Martinez has been all this time. In part because of the terrible decisions he was victim to against Cintron & Williams, who he beat clearly.

I'm not sure I see Oscar catching Martinez with much of much, personally. Considering the size difference I see Oscar having much the same frustrations he had with Pernel & Floyd. Oscar struggles big with southpaws for one thing, being so left hand dominant, & good defensive fighters for another, being much more of a speedy flurry & hope guy than a sharp shooter for my money.... and Martinez is one hell of both.
