I'll go with 3 then. The one shot on Hatton aside, his wins were from beating his opponents to the punch and wearing them down by punch volume. If he was feather fisted, they would have been decision wins (DLH, Cotto).

3-Decent.....the speed and angle of his punches are what generate a lot of power...

    I accidentally voted for 4-good...

I'd say 3.45. But his effectiveness might be even 4.092

Yu think he hits as hard than Tito and DLH in their primes? I would rate them as 4 and Tommy Hearns at 5.

on this scale i'd rate Tito and Hearns the same, probably 5. ODH and Pacquiao I'd both have at 4.

At 147 ODH wasn't as big a puncher as Tito and Hearns.

I mean, 3 is average. Which means most fighters in the division would be there. You can't lump Pacquiao in with, "most" fighters, not even at 147.

"Great" is a stretch. A "Great" puncher would have finished Cotto in 2 rounds...if he hit him as much times as Manny did.

I doubt Pacquiao hits as hard as DLH did in his prime. If DLH hit Cotto or Clottey as much as Pac did, they would have been stopped much earlier.

I can see maybe going down to 3.5149, but 3.5147 is just ridiculously low.

whoever said great is out of their mind. Considering how many shots he throws and lands. his power is exactly at 3.5 range

    I'm am another 3.5 guy.
His effectiveness is in his speed & how he punches from angles.
It's the one's you don't see that hurt you.
I think generally people could think a bit harder about what exactly are the attributes that Manny has that make him so good, and then reflect on what the best explanations for those attributes are.
Instead of just thinking that because he's stopping guys that he must possess unnatural power.

Word. people don't know what "great" is when it comes to power.
Manny wasn't even GREAT at 126, let alone 147. He's got GOOD power. GREAT power is like Tyson, Hearns, Jackson, Hamed type power.

Miguel Cotto had been stopped before and badly shaken up but Corley and some other dude...manny hit him with everything plus the kitchen sink and it took him 12 rounds to get him out of their.

Good power...no where near GREAT though...

After talking with my cousin, I have to admit I made a mistake selecting Great. I didnt give myself time to really think about it. Pacman power is a 3. It's the speed and the angles in which the punches come from the shock his opponents.
