I agree ... Stinks barely got by Mayorga ... Whats he gonna do when Oscar is on his ass .. Twice ass fast , twice as skilled , twice as much ring knowledge as Mayorga .. He might even have more pop as well ..

I think Cory did what he had to to beat Mayorga. I believe he can improve his boxing when he gets pushed. Oscar always had trouble with guys who had good jabs and Spinks' jab was among the best.

Stinks doesn't have the durability to beat Oscar ... Oscar would catch him (and he would catch him and land) and Spinks would go into running/survival mode and Oscar would hunt him down ...

Spinks would have gotten knocked out by De La Hoya. Against quality opposition, Cory isn't a true 12 round fighter. He just runs up a lead early and tries to survive late. He wouldn't be able to do that against the best fighter he's ever fought.

Stinks would fight to not lose instead of win, which would allow DLH to walk him down for the 8th round stoppage

Oscar gets him out within 6-7 rounds.

Spinks can only avoid him for so long, and De La Hoya would have no fear about what's coming back so he'd go after Spinks the exact same way he did in that first fight with Mosley and this approach would work to his advantage here.

Now Errol Spence on the other hand, is a bad style match up for Oscar, IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised if Spinks gave DLH a much tougher fight than most people would expect. DLH could sometimes go into "robot mode" when trying to stalk a moving target, and that would play into Spinks' hands big time if that happened IMO. Remember also that even though Spinks had an awful hometown meltdown against Judah, he otherwise was difficult to KO and managed to stay 12 rounds with Taylor up at 160.

I think this might go to a decision with DLH getting the nod after an ugly and indecisive fight.
