    Was De La Hoya too inexperienced to handle such a skilled opponent at that stage of his career or would his big edge in size and power be the difference?

    I think he was too inexperienced. Ken would survive the initial onslaught, and come on to take control late. Ken had a huge edge in stamina, and Ken's ring IQ was far higher.
