:: I thought the same thing. RJJ - there are 2-3 other threads where people are saying exactly the same thing....it's not news to pick JMM. :tease:
Honestly don't know. JMM won the 1st fight IMO but he's gotten older and Pac's gotten better. I think that's the difference here. Pac is such a wild ball of fire that comes in and gives his opponents no room to think and the only guy I've seen who could was JMM. I think JMM has the skills to beat Pac, but I think the intangibles favor Pacman due to his peaking now and JMM's aging. Pac by UD. With the kind of predictions I've had lately this almost guarantees a JMM victory. ::
From watching Countdown looks like Marquez is training for the fight of his life, while Pac is content fiddling around with his out of tune guitar, or hanging out at the pool hall. HOWEVER, before just about all of Pac's recent fights, there's always been a big deal made about outside distractions during training, yet he still manages to be in great shape so it could really be a non- factor. (although it did look like he lacked some of that fire in the Barrera fight). Marquez was getting hit clean too much for my liking when he was taking on those random asian southpaws. He easily won those fights, but none of those guys punch as fast, hard, or with the volume as Pac. (Just checked out the Jaca fight on youtube and Jaca was catching Marquez with those straight lefts and right hooks but had no pop and was considerably undersized) However, Pac can't fight for shit going backwards and you bet your ass Marquez is gonna try to counter and flurry after those straight lefts. Pac looks terrible when he's pushed backwards and that definitely will play a role in the scoring. With all that being said, Pac UD, knocking Marquez down at least once in the fight.
Don't blame me for societies problems. If they put more money into education when I was young, we wouldn't have this problem.
Manny... He SWEARS He's Still Hungry (REED PERSONALLY Asked Manny that VERY QUESTION During a Conference Call & Pointed Out Examples of JUST HOW his Hunger was SUFFERING) & he's NOT as BASIC as he was when he Nearly KO'ed Marquez the 1st Time... Manny WAXES Marquez N 6 or 7 Rounds... REED
NO CHANCE OF THAT HAPPENING AT ALL. Very poor prediction. Marquez has his number and will win a UD plain and simple
look if u have someone's number u don't get knocked flat on your ass 3 times in one round... U also don't lose one fight and barely edge the rubber match by one frikkin point if u have someone's number (i mean the vazquez-Marquez series) You have a very weird understanding of someone having someone's number... ::
 Exactly... Marquez "Has Manny's # " Soooooooo MUCH, he was "Only" Dropped 3 Times N a Single Round... REED::
:: What dumb asses. Marquez was caught cold. And? What happened next? Oh yeah, he won the fight and got robbed after the 10-7 round. Thats what happened. He is a level above pacman as far as boxing ability is concerned and he will show it this time. I was right about Witter winning a world title. I am right about this.
I wouldn't say JMM has his number. But clearly he figured him out. Think about it he got dropped 3 times in the first round and still managed to compose himself and make adjustments after that horrible round. I'm sure with more time he can eliminate those errors. I consider that first round more of a fluke. First because JMM came out more agressive than normal. Second becacuse Manny never came close to doing that again for 11 more rounds. At the end of the fight Manny had excuses and JMM didn't. End of story. opcorn:
JMM by UD! I'm sure some will claim Manny was not focused or is not hungry anymore. At least those are familiar excuses from a boxer unlike the cheap socks excuse.
I hope Manny maxes lightbulb head, but I'm going with my head over my heart in this one. Marquez by UD.
i'm talking about your perception of the last one... and if he gets a draw again i will eat my crow as Marquez really must have had his number...
I always feel like Pacman is pretty basic but what he does he does well.. I can't believe I'm saying this but.. Pac will stop him in 6
