Man, Mosley's always been a tough guy but this is likely a career ender. Let's hope he still knows how to talk after this one.

And then Shane turns off his ps3, heads to the arena, gets beat up, gets paid, and buys a sandwich.

    The end.

Man, Mosley is already slurring badly. This'll be tough to watch as a guy that's always been a big Shane fan. I hate this fight.

The only way Shane wins is if Pac becomes lazy, doesn't train and gains a significant amount of fat.

Berto, Alexander vs. Bradley winner, I know there isn't many big money options out there...and Pacquiao apparently just wants to stack up names on his resume...but MOSLEY? After getting dominated by Mayweather and drawing with the bum Mora....what can Pacquiao get out of this fight? Other than adding Mosley to his resume and like Hatton/DLH KO'ed him brutally just to show MAYWEATHER OFF...

Pacquiao, for the sake of his own self-respect and the respect of others needs to quit with this catch-weight shit. It's really starting to annoy me that he's allowed to fight for title after title without having to stage the fight at the official weight class.

Makes you wonder what the fuck Pacquiao is afraid of. And makes you wonder how big of an advantage it provides him to require his opponents to melt down in weight.

I think Mosley/Mora was a fixed fight. There, I said it.

I think fighting above 147 only benefits Mosley, who has fought at the jr middle for YEARS.

Best for Pacquaio is to have fight no higher than 147.

That's fine and good. But then the title shouldn't be on the line, and Pacquiao shouldn't have the chance to win the title.

The meaning of titles has degraded enough. Now we're gonna have people winning them without even competing in the title's corresponding weight class?

If Pacquiao wants to say to Mosley, fight me at welterweight, or don't fight me at all, that's fine. I guess. Although even then it's clearly Pacquiao throwing his weight around, apparently determined to gain every advantage he can.

For example, why did Cotto have to fight him at 145, but then Margarito fight can happen at 150? If Pacquiao had said to Margarito, it has to be at 145, that's one thing. But clearly it's not a case of Pacquiao having an upper limit on the size fighter he faces - rather it's a case of his wanting his opponent, whatever his size, to be weight-drained when and if they fight. And it explains why Cotto has to come down to 145, but Margarito only has to come down to 150. Because what's important in both cases is addressed - Cotto and Margarito were both required to dry up more than they'd been used to.

but he would actually be defending the title, in this case.

I agree with the rest and considering that they campaign in the same weight class(es), I don't understand why they can't just pick 147 or 154. As it is, the fight does next-to-nothing. Fighting his third catcheweight in his past four fights is that much more offputting.

Right. So Manny has a 154 title, that he won by fighting a guy at 150 and that he wants to defend by fighting a guy at 148.

But more importantly, Pacquiao is most interested in requiring that opponents fight at weights that are lower than what they're used to or comfortable fighting at.

    Damn.

Mosley must badly need the money because he is going to take a potential career ending beating here.

Terrible fight. As a stay busy fight the opponent isn't bad but seriously, if May won't fight then fight a youngblood. One of the up and coming guys not a veteran like Shane.

I'm glad Shane gets a possible payday but I will not enjoy the beating he will most likely take.

Mosley is almost done and beating him now does very little for Pacquiao. Would have preferred a Manny vs Berto fight.
