Just a massive hurdle to the fight we should be seeing in November, in my mind. Still, gotta love Pac, that crazy little fucker'll fight anyone.

Good fight but I really want to see the stipulations TeamPac will demand. Cotto already mentioned he will not go 1 pound under 145. I have a feeling they will not let Cotto rehydrate properly. :flip: I'm sure they are going to make the weigh in later in the day as opposed to early in the day.

And instead of a stool...there will be a treadmill in Cotto's corner.

Cotto needs to fight PAC at a weight he is comfortable at otherwise it's gonna be lights out.

147 lets get it on :mj:

Cotto has a very good right hand the punch that gives Manny the most problems. Cotto also is very good at fighting fast fighters. This is Pacs hardest fight since Marquez for sure.

Seeing how easy it was for Clottey to tag Cotto and Manny being about twice as fast as Clottey, I think Pac knocks him out. Cotto also doesn't know what to do when he's hurt, he does recover well, but he swings back and gets wild when he's hurt. A guy like Manny won't let him off the hook. Right now, I would take Manny by KO.

I have the feeling that Manny will be such a huge favourite that betting Cotto will be the thing to do. Maybe I'm wrong but I wouldn't be surprised to see 3-1 or 4-1 odds favouring Manny. He looked devastating beating Hatton and Cotto just went life and death against a relatively unknown WW.

I think the odds will be much closer. I seriously doubt and odds makers are that brave. I think it will be close to even odds. At least it should be IMO.

How Many Fast, MOBILE Fighters has Cotto Looked Good Against or even Fought???...Sugar Shane's FAST, but he was Right in Front of Cotto the Entire Fight...Manny's Gonna Use ANGLES & Attack Cotto w/Speed he's NEVER Seen....

Of course this is a great fight, but i want to see Pac-Floyd. Any other fight involving those two just seems like a delay no matter how good the opponent is.

Cotto has good experince with speed (Mosley, Judah).

Like Kellerman mentioned Cotto used timing to disrupt Mosley's speed. BUT like you also pointed out Pacman will use angles with speed. It's going to be a good fight!!!

Yeah but Cotto look slow and clumsy vs Clottey...who knows if that had to do w/ Clottey? His training? or the Margarito fight....

It will open fairly even, I just think people will bet on Pac a lot afterwards. Just look at this thread, everybody's favouring Pac.

And Judah had Cotto hurt in round 1. What happens if Pac hurts him early?

Steward's going to teach him what to do when he's hurt - hold. No shame in that. What will piss me off is if Cotto tries to control the pace of the fight by holding. Steward is always talking about how Cotto doesn't know how to hold. I guess it is a serious liability when he's hurt, but other than that, I'm glad he doesn't hold. It's one of the reasons he's so fun to watch fight.

Yeah, but Pac does just about everything else better. Cotto has been soften up in the last 2 years as well.

He certainly hits harder than Corley.

Does he hit harder than Corley? Or Torres? Pacquiao must hit Cotto on the temple. Not the chin. Cotto has an iron chin but his legs are gone if you hit him clean in the temple.

The Blue print for Pac has already been laid. All Cotto has to do is study the Marquez fight's and get him a quality trainer. I think Cotto has a good chance.:bears:

I think there's a lot of guys at WW including Cotto and Clottey who would look devastating beating Hatton at this point.

Hatton should never again leave 140...........ever.

I don't think the odds will get that high..........if they do, I might just have to break my no gambling rule.

Agreed. Which is why Cotto should not agree to fight below 147.

If Pac wants to fight a Welterweight, it should be at Welterweight. Everybody keeps on saying Pac holds all the cards but who the hell is at 140 for Pac to make money off right now?

Agreed. I just read in the PR news that Cotto sais he will not go below 147 to fight Pac! He said if Pac wants to fight he must go to 147 or no fight.:bears:
