If they fought again in three months, who would you pick? Marquez' win was completely legit, but does that mean that he is the better fighter to you right now, ie. would you pick him to win again?

At the risk of sounding like the late Manny Steward, apart from the two right hands the fight was going as I expected - like the third but easier for Pac. I'd pick him by 8-4 type decision in a 5th. I hope it happens quickly.

i'd pick pac i think.. i think he'd "box" more and use his speed etc..
then again.. he might be a little gun shy..

    i'd rather see Marquez-Floyd 2

I would pick Marquez again and probably by KO. I just can't see Pacquiao being the same after getting knocked out like that.

Only a retard would bring pacquiao back 3 months later after that ko loss he suffered. He'll be off until the summer at the earliest

I am a bit disillusioned, if I'm being honest

Yeah, the fight was exciting, I enjoyed it, but the cloud of suspicion that hangs over these two and Mayweather... it's off-putting... it changes how I perceive everything... and, no, I don't believe everyone is doing it... I don't believe JMM ever was until these last two fights with Pacquiao...

Unless Pac's ruined I don't see JMM landing that shot again. Pac was clearly getting the better of JMM.

Not sure I want to see them fight again though.

He agreed to a bloodtest. In fact, the physical trainer said from now on, all his fighters will be tested olympic style to avoid suspicion.

That's some bullshit, neither fighter asked for any additional testing. Tested olympic style like Mayweather? With some exemption for failed tests. lol

Testing is bullshit for sure. Especially WADA testing.

VADA testing is the real deal.

It's pretty obvious looking at JMM he wasn't going to be tested for this fight.

furthermore, testing is typically behind the curve... it is cat and mouse... ask Victor Conte, he will tell you... the people making these concotions are always two steps ahead of the people trying to detect them

Very true, but there arer methods to detect the tried and true methods people will always use. They have to be tested right though with zero notice.

If they Fight in 3 Months, Marquez Eventually KO's Pac Again...

Manny Needs to Get Away, Regroup, Take a Tune-Up, then Face Marquez Summer 2013, @ the EARLIEST...Marquez V is THE MOST Important Fight of Manny's Career, as a Portion of his AURA was just Taken Away from him...This was Roy Getting KO'ed in 2 by Tarver, This was Hatton Getting Stretched by Pac...A HUMBLING Loss that Lingers FOREVER...A Loss that Makes you Think LESS of Yourself as a Man AND Fighter...

Pac Definitely Needs a Tune Up 1st, Perhaps in the Phillipines, to Get SOME of his "Mojo" Back...If he Doesn't, he'll Be as GUN-SHY as we've EVER Seen him, vs. an EMBOLDENED Marquez, Only to Get KO'ed Again...

Instant rematches are never a good thing for the losing fighter.

Best bet for Pac is to take an interim fight, and then in the rematch, box more and don't do stupid shit like walking into counter rights. He'd probably win a UD.

I'd rather it not happen, though. Both Pac and Marquez should retire, and you can add Mayweather to that list as well.

I agree. Very rarely a fighter can comeback after a ko of that magnitude. I think Pac will never be the same ever again. If they fight again I see Marquez Knocking him out again.

I'd have to go with Pacquiao, assuming his jaw hasn't been Vargasized by the JMM right hand. And I don't think it was that type of punch. It wasn't some screwy tap that had Pacquiao gyrating or convulsing on his feet like an epilectic. If I had to guess, which is what I have to do here, I'd say Pac's chin is fine, and he builds on what he was doing when he wasn't being knocked on his ass, and takes a decision or even a late knock-out.

Plus, a result like this could even work to JMM's disadvantage if he becomes preoccupied with replicating what he did Saturday, and becomes a sitting duck as a result.

That punch was reminiscent of the one Tyson landed on Botha. Perfect timing. Perfect placement. Perfect technique. Perfect leverage. Perfect range. And his opponent walked into it giving it perfect power.

freddie roach would have to take total control of pac's training regimen or not be involved at all. no more of this dancing, singing, and training when manny wants. manny would have to take the fight like a hungry young fighter again. that and insist on REAL random drug testing...

There's NO WAY Manny Can Insist Upon This Now, Given his RELUCTANCE to Fully Committ, when Floyd 1st Suggested It....

Manny's Basically held CAPTIVE by his OWN PED Use...He'll Require it HIMSELF to Be on TOP of his Game, But Even Then it May NOT Be Enough to Beat an Equally Juiced Marquez...

Pacquaio had a great career. Why keep fighting? He fought the guy four times already and couldnt beat him. He was just violently knocked the fuk out. He should retire and enjoy the rest of his life
