http://www.boxingscene.com/index.php?m=show&id=18763 I love this attitude from Pacquiao. He basically said he understands the public's demand for a third fight and wishes to fight Marquez again to settle the score. He said the third fight would be even better than the first two and that they need to put in the public's mind that there is a winner. I hope this happens after the Hatton fight this year. :hammert:
Man, Pacquaio has a lot on his plate. Mosley just called him out on Btalk, and even Arum is talking of matching Pac up with Cotto.
For some reason I never heard Pacquiao interested in Mosley. When Shane was to fight Margarito, Pacquiao talked about outboxing Margarito even against Roach's wishes. When Mosley beat Margarito somebody asked Pacquiao about fighting Shane and his response was that he was just concentrating on Hatton. opcorn: Fighting Shane at 147 is at this stage is a different animal than that corpes of Oscar las December.
that's amusing but I really don't like the guy or his style. can't say I've ever been a fan of his and he's only become harder to watch. in fact the one time I did go see him live the fight completely sucked and i'll never go watch him again. that aside, he's a hard guy to defeat and I don't think pacquaio has what it takes to do so. mayweather sr is no great strategist but he's a hell of a lot more proven in preparing world class fighters than that Guinness-swilling Brit with the busted digits.
Hatton will be the TOUGHEST opponent in Pacquiao's career, tougher than Marquez. The one bright spot in this is that Manny is going to get a FULL 9 week training camp with Freddie while Hatton will only be in camp with Mayweather for 4 weeks (he's training in the UK right now).
