pascal's talented, but he often fights in spurts. that's gonna cost him when he fights someone at or near his level. i can see him troubling dawson, but he won't be able to dominate and win enough rounds to take the fight. if bute can't get a big fight at 168, bute vs. pascal is the fight to be made at 175.
First Pascal has to win this fight and it didn´t look very convincing in round five. Looked like he was hurt.
if anyone's interested. round 4 just ended. first round was close. second and third were won by pascal but diacanu stunned pascal in round 4.
Let me save you the rest of your night´s work. I had Diacanu winning tonight, and he should give Henry his rematch in the US, since Herny won their first bout in Romania and should now be a world champion.
good round for pascal. he threw some nice flurries to the body and landed some crisp uppercuts right on the chin. either diacanu has a granite chin or pascal's power isn't that great.
Fucked him up is a slight exaggeration, but if you want to throw like a madman for 30 seconds the start to the body wasn´t bad.
like i said, he fucking fights in spurts. there hasn't been a round where pascal does anything consistent for 3 minutes. he seems to have stamina problems. he is very effective though when he's on the offensive.
He certainly gives you a feeling, that Diacanu isn´t out of the fight until the final bell, although a decision is probably out of reach without a few knockdowns.
he does seem a bit fragile and looks hurt even when punches don't land clean. but then again, he also does a good job of recuperating.
And I wondered why Diacanu fought without any sense of urgency in the last two rounds, but judging by his enthusiastic reaction at the final bell he must feels he has won this easily.
fight's over. i thought pascal won 9-3 but a few of the rounds were close. i expect a UD with scores of 115-113 or with wider margin.
